Rolled Characteristics

DECORATIVE HIGH PRESSURE LAMINATES (HPL)

HPL is made of layers of cellulose fibre (normally paper) impregnated with thermosetting resins and joined together using high pressure processes (applying simultaneously temperatures >120° and pressures >5 Mpa).
The surface is made of decorative papers impregnated with melanine resins.
The body is made of sheets impregnated with phenolic resins.
